The Bardo Group is dedicated to our charter: "Better politics through alcohol." After all it can't be much worse than the methods currently at use on the Hill.

The Bardo Group started as a small group of friends from Georgetown University that found the real world didn't care a plugged nickel about our well-read opinions. Whether it was politics, technology, justice, science or even music no one wanted to listen. Then after a few beers at the local beer-joint in Arlington, VA an idea was born. These friends would meet every Thursday evening (when the beer was cheap...hey we just graduated!) and yell at each other for a few hours. This activity became a ritual and the Bardo group has now moved beyond Bardo (we just like the name now). We have our own 'experts'(at least that's what they call themselves) in many major areas in DC.
